GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Joey Ortiz made an injury rehabilitation start with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Thursday.
Ortiz has been on the Brewers’ injury list since July 3 with a neck injury. Taking on the West Michigan Whitecaps, Ortiz was 0-for-2 with a walk.
The Timber Rattlers beat the Whitecaps 3-2 in ten innings thanks to a walk-off RBI double by Matt Wood.

Ortiz is expected to rejoin the Milwaukee Brewers this weekend as they host the Washington Nationals for a three-game series.
