Sheriff’s Office: No criminal charges filed following fire that killed six people in Wisconsin

NECEDAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say no criminal charges are being filed after six family members were killed in a fire on the morning of June 30.

According to a release from the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, crews responded around 2:35 a.m. to a house on W5040 Morros Mile Road in Necedah for a reported fire.

When officials arrived on the scene, the house was visibly on fire multiple people were in the driveway of the home.

One arrested after single-vehicle rollover on College Avenue in Appleton

Those in the driveway told authorities that six people, three adults and three juveniles were unaccounted for. Deputies say those six people were killed in the fire.

Following an investigation into the incident, the Juneau County District Attorney’s Office says they will not be pursuing criminal charges against the property owner.
