Wisconsin man killed in fatal head-on crash in Oneida County, another injured

WOODBORO, Wis. (WFRV) – A 58-year-old Wisconsin man was killed on Tuesday morning in a fatal head-on crash involving two vehicles near Rhinelander.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol North Central Region, troopers responded at 8 a.m. on Tuesday to a two-vehicle head-on crash on U.S. 8 eastbound/westbound at Spring Creek Road.

The initial information indicated that a westbound GMC pickup truck crossed the center line, striking a Toyota sedan heading east. The driver and only occupant of the Toyota, identified as 58-year-old Daniel Reiter of Tomahawk, died from the injuries.

The GMC operator, identified as 53-year-old Kristin Henrickson of Abbotsford suffered minor injuries. No charges have been filed at this time. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
