KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – A coordinated search with drone technology in Kaukauna resulted in the arrest of a burglary suspect who was also treated for a suspected drug overdose.
According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, officers from multiple agencies responded to a burglary call in an occupied home in Kaukauna that was reported around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The suspect fled from the home on foot before officers arrived, leading to coordinated search efforts with drone technology. Officers reportedly found the suspect in a field area a ‘significant’ distance from the home.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office drone operators located the man with the drone, directing the officers to his location. He was taken into custody and emergency medical assistance was provided due to a suspected drug overdose.
