BLACK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office said that the incident in Black Creek near an elementary school has been resolved with one person arrested.
The incident involved a search warrant execution as investigators were sent to an apartment complex on East Burdick Street to investigate stolen property that included firearms.
The Outagamie County Emergency Response Team was used for the warrant due to the possible presence of more firearms and other information that arose from the investigation.
Black Creek Elementary School had deputies on the scene as a precaution. The person who was arrested has not yet been identified as the investigation continues
Deputies handling ‘active situation’ in Outagamie County near elementary school

BLACK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) – Deputies with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office are currently handling an ‘active situation’ in the Village of Black Creek near the local elementary school.
Deputies say the situation is on East Burdick Street and that there is no threat to the public. However, the incident is near the Black Creek Elementary School, but does not involve the school.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area as they work to resolve the situation.
