FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – During a Fond du Lac County traffic stop on I-41, a man from Appleton was arrested after he was allegedly found to have over 150 grams of crack cocaine.

The driver, a 32-year-old Appleton man who was the only person in the vehicle, reportedly told the deputy that he was on his way home from visiting family in the Milwaukee area. During the traffic stop, the deputy had reasonable suspicion of illegal drug activity, leading to a K9 being called in. The K9 gave a positive alert on the vehicle.

After a search of the vehicle, roughly 158 grams of crack cocaine, three cell phones, and $622 were allegedly found.

The Appleton man was arrested and taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail for Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and a parole violation.
