Authorities in Wisconsin searching for two suspects after alleged home invasion

ELMWOOD PARK, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeast Wisconsin are searching for two suspects in connection to an alleged home invasion on Tuesday night.

According to a release, deputies responded to a home invasion/burglary in progress in the 3400 block of North Elmwood Drive in the village of Elmwood Park shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, the deputies with the Racine County Sheriff’s Office determined the lone occupant of the residence had fled after having contact with the two intruders.

Authorities searched the residence and the surrounding area but were unable to find the alleged suspects.

The suspects were described as two white males wearing black ski masks. One suspect was tall and thin, with blue eyes, wearing a black hoodie and dark-colored jeans. No description of the other suspect was provided.

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) is actively investigating these crimes. Furthermore, the sheriff’s office says it will continue to increase its presence in the Elmwood Park area with additional patrols.
