MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WFRV)—On Saturday morning, a fire that was thought to be under control burst back out of control aided by heavy winds, causing it to spread quickly.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the Communications Center received a 911 call from a property owner in Marshfield at W409 County Highway CCC, reporting that a previously controlled fire burst out of control with about an acre of marshland on fire.
