Officials say the vehicle in question was found on I-41 near Hickory Street in the City of Fond du Lac at which time the vehicle exited onto South Military Road and entered into a private business parking lot where a felony traffic stop was conducted.
Following a brief stop, the vehicle took off and rapidly increased its speed leading to a high-speed pursuit.
Deputies say the vehicle headed south on I-41, continuing at a high rate of speed, and was passing other vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate.
Authorities continued to pursue the vehicle as it entered Dodge County and later into Washington County, where a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office successfully deployed a tire deflation device on I-41 near County Highway K.
The vehicle did attempt to continue heading south for a short distance but the tire deflation device caused the driver to have to stop the vehicle on the shoulder of I-41 near WIS 144 in Washington County.
Deputies from Fond du Lac County and Washington County, along with troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol, conducted a high-risk traffic stop and arrested all three occupants of the vehicle without any further issues.
The driver of the vehicle, a 36-year-old woman from Vermont, the front-seat passenger, a 40-year-old man from Pennsylvania, and the rear-seat passenger, a 41-year-old man from Vermont, were all taken to the Fond du Lac County Jail on the following charges:
