Green Bay driver with child passenger arrested for OWI, drug activity

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A traffic stop for speeding on I-41 near Ashwaubenon resulted in an OWI arrest for the driver who reportedly had a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle.

A release from the Wisconsin State Patrol states that 29-year-old Tia Vogel from Green Bay was pulled over for speeding around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 on I-41 near Ashwaubenon.

The Trooper allegedly noticed ‘drug activity’ and ‘indicators of impairment’ during the traffic stop.

After standardized field sobriety testing, Vogel was arrested for Operating with a Restricted Controlled Substance – 1st offense, with a passenger under the age of 16 modifier.
