Groundbreaking for new Drop Forge Facility in Green Bay followed by celebratory food & drinks

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – W.E. Hoban Company held a groundbreaking ceremony to begin construction on a brand new manufacturing facility in Green Bay.

Officials gathered at the site of construction to celebrate as work begins on the new facility, with speeches and plenty more. In addition to the speeches, officials blessed the land and took photos as a new chapter is written.

The building gives the company added space and the ability to modernize the equipment.

“It’s something we’ve been talking about in company meetings with employees,” Cleveland Hardware & Forging Company President William Hoban said. “We’ve unfortunately had to move it out quarter by quarter, but to be able to say it’s happening, it seems we’re on the right path.”

Immediately following the ceremony, company admins gathered at Mackinaws Grill & Spirit to celebrate and highlight what the new facility will entail with a dinner.

The new Drop Forge facility will be at 3855 Finger Road in Green Bay and should be completed in about a year.
