Gusty winds and warmer temps for now – watching mid-week snowmaker

Top of the morning to you! This St. Patrick’s Day will be pretty nice with warmer weather moving in for the start of the week. You’ll contend with gusty south winds this afternoon which may be in the 30 to 40 mph range.

Storm Team 5 is keeping a close eye on a storm system for Wednesday as we are expecting another round of strong winds, and rain showers that turn to snow. For now, the most impactful snow looks to be in central and northern Wisconsin.

St. Patrick’s Day will be partly sunny with gusty winds for the afternoon. A small chance for sprinkles as a warm front lifts into Wisconsin. Highs reach the upper 40s to lower 50s away from the lakeshore. 41 near the lake. Southerly winds up to 30 or 40 mph later on.
