Rain will stay away until later Wednesday and Thursday, so in the meantime, we will focus on WINDY weather and four possible temperature records!
The first record in jeopardy is the high temperature of 77 degrees today dating back to 1937. We have never had an 80 degree day beyond October 23rd. We could achieve that today. Tomorrow’s record high might go down as well, currently 75 degrees from 1901. Finally, and obscure record could go down Wednesday called a record high-low. Think of it as the warmest low temperature from midnight to midnight, and I think we could get it as long as temperatures stay above 62 degrees all day long.
Early clouds on Monday will give way to filtered sunshine. Very warm and windy with a high of 81 degrees! Southwest winds from 15 to 30 miles per hour – hold onto your hats!
Incredibly warm tonight for late October! Very warm and windy overnight with a low of 68 degrees.
You guessed it, warm and windy again tomorrow! Highs will be in the middle and upper 70s, possible catching another record. Rain will move in across the north first in the afternoon, while southern counties will get rain either late in the evening or overnight.
Halloween on Thursday will also feature scattered showers, but it will not rain all day long. In the late afternoon and evening, rain chances fade away south of Green Bay in time for Trick-or-Treating. Areas north of Green Bay could hold onto scattered rain showers during that time. It’s also later in the day when our northernmost counties could see wet snow mixing in with the rain for a little grassy accumulation. Highs will be in the morning in the upper 50s, then fall into the 40s throughout the day.
Sunny and less windy on Friday. Cool October air returns with a high of 50 degrees.
Lots of sun and late day clouds on Saturday. The high goes up to 58 degrees.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS Sunday at 2am, so flip your clocks backward 1 hour before bed Saturday night. Sunset on Sunday will be 4:37pm.
Spotty rain showers possible on Sunday for the Packers home game. The high is 58 degrees.
