(WFRV) – The high school girls basketball season has come to a close and three local programs are headed back home with new hardware for the trophy case.
The #1 Kimberly girls basketball team won its fifth gold ball in program history, their first since 1998, after a 47-26 win over #3 Muskego in the division one state championship game.
In division three, the #4 Xavier girls basketball program is bring home a silver ball as they fell short in the state championship game #2 Oostburg.
In division four, the #2 St. Mary Catholic girls basketball program lost a nail biter to #4 Cuba City 53-50.
