Man in Wisconsin airlifted to hospital after falling 25 feet from a grain storage bin

BRIGHTON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities with the Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department rescued a man who suffered serious injuries late Friday morning.

According to the release, the departments responded to a farm in the 1100 block of 240th Avenue in the Town of Brighton, located in western Kenosha County, after a man reportedly fell about 25 feet from a grain storage bin.

The 30-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was stabilized before being taken to a landing zone at the Brighton Town Hall. The man was airlifted to a local hospital via a Flight For Life helicopter.

The release added that the injuries were serious and traumatic, but not believed to be life-threatening.
