MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – The 43-year-old veteran who was reported missing with a green alert on Tuesday was found dead on Saturday according to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason Neumann was found about two miles north of the Village of Cleveland in Lake Michigan. The original missing report was filed after his SUV was found by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office in the shallow area of Lake Michigan.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to Jason’s family and friends during this difficult time,” the release said. “At this point in the investigation, there is no indication of foul play.”
Neumann was believed to have gone missing on Monday. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and County Coroner are currently investigating.
The Green Alert has been canceled as of 2:48 p.m. on Saturday. No more details are available at this time.
