Miron Construction hosts signing day at De Pere High School, celebrates new apprentice

DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Miron Construction hosted a signing day at De Pere High School on Friday morning celebrating one of its new apprentices.

Ray Fitzl will graduate from De Pere High School later this month and has signed on at Miron as a Masonry apprentice.

Career Signing Day is a time for high school and college graduates to officially begin employment with a construction contractor who will sponsor them throughout their carpenter apprenticeship and provide on-the-job training. This celebration honors both graduate and contractor, providing a pivotal moment in the life of a student.

Fitzl is currently working on a project at Preble High School and has previously worked on an addition and renovations at Denmark Elementary School.
