NFL Draft Day 2 sees 175,000 fans, pushing total attendance across first three rounds to nearly 400,000

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Day 1 of the NFL Draft in Green Bay shattered expectations, with 205,000 fans in and around Titletown for the first 32 picks, nearly doubling the city’s population.

Unfortunately, Day 2 brought some unfriendly weather, but the fans still showed out for the second and third rounds, with ESPN’s Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reporting 175,000 in attendance.

The number pushes the total attendance from Day 1 and Day 2 to about 380,000, far higher than many projections.

Front Office Sports said most projections expected roughly 250,000 attendees across all three days combined.

Green Bay may be the NFL’s smallest market, but the historic football heritage in the city drew out the masses.
