Only minor injuries reported after semi truck hits guardrail and rolls over in Wisconsin

WEBSTER, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say the driver of a semi-truck suffered only minor injuries after losing control, crashing into a guardrail, and rolling over.

According to a release from the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday to a crash involving a semi-truck rolling over on County Road D near Buckeye Ridge Road in the town of Webster.

Officials say 23-year-old Christopher Harris from La Farge was driving his semi tractor-trailer south on County Road D when he claims to have run into gravel on the roadway causing him to lose control.

After losing control, the semi-truck proceeded to crash into a guardrail before overturning in the roadway.

Deputies say Harris was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and after he was looked at for suspected minor injuries by La Farge Area Ambulance, it was determined that he did not have to get taken to the hospital.
