Oshkosh residence hit by multiple bullets, shooter sought in several Wisconsin counties

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers are searching for a person who allegedly fired several shots into a residence in Oshkosh Friday night.

A release from the Oshkosh Police Department states that officers responded to a weapons incident in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street around 9:30 p.m. on March 14 after reports of several gunshots in the area.

Officers immediately responded and found that multiple bullets hit a specific residence. Officers say the shooter is known to the victims and fled before officers arrived.

There were no reported injuries.

Officers say they do know the identity of the shooter and have tried to find them at numerous addresses throughout Winnebago and Outagamie counties.
