NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – The Neenah Police Department has provided an update regarding the mystery deck demolished.
As of Wednesday, 1/29/2025, the department posted to Facebook that thanks to the social media response and tips received, the case has been solved and the deck demolisher has been identified.
No further details were provided.

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities are seeking assistance from the community to identify a man who was seen dismantling a deck at a Maple Street home on the morning of Tuesday, January 7.
According to a Facebook post from the Neenah Police Department, the homeowner returned from work to find her deck in disarray, having discovered that the demolition was not part of any scheduled work.
Witnesses reported seeing the unknown man at the residence, assuming he was hired to perform the job.

However, after spending only about 30 minutes at the site, he left and never returned, leaving the homeowner with an unpleasant surprise upon arrival.
To locate the individual responsible, Neenah PD is asking for anyone with information to come forward.
