APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – After a power outage for part of downtown Appleton for the majority of Wednesday, power has officially been restored.
Officials with the City of Appleton thanked We Energies for their efforts in resolving the issue and the residents for their patience and understanding during the closure.

Due to the outage, Appleton City Hall was forced to close down around 11:30 a.m. for the remainder of the day. City Hall will reopen on Thursday, January 30.

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – The City of Appleton has stated that parts of downtown, including the Appleton City Hall, are currently experiencing power outages.
Officials say that power is out in parts of the downtown area, impacting several businesses, traffic signals, and City Hall operations.
A release sent out at 11:40 a.m. on January 29 states that City Hall has closed for the rest of the day, with all services, including the finance window and phone lines, being unavailable.
