GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Green Bay say that two people were taken into custody after there was a large police presence that resulted in a ‘secure the building’ at an elementary school.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, it was requested to help the Brown County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest of a suspect. The call reportedly resulted in a large police presence around the 1900 block of 9th Street.
Two people were eventually taken into custody. A temporary ‘secure the building’ was put in place for Kennedy Elementary. It has since been lifted.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Green Bay Area Public Schools announced that Kennedy Elementary is currently on lockdown.
According to a Facebook post made by GBAPS, Kennedy Elementary School is officially in a “secure the building – outside situation” due to a community concern.
Oshkosh Police Department identifies two suspects in connection to vandalism incident at South Park
School officials say that all students are safe and that the school day is continuing as normal inside the building.
They add that families will be notified when the situation is resolved and the “secure the building” is lifted.
