(WFRV) – A UTV went through the ice on a lake in Wisconsin on Friday, prompting officials to urge extra caution and to avoid the ice nearby.
According to the Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Friday at Petenwell Lake about half a mile from the Petenwell County Park boat landing.

Fortunately, the UTV operators made it back to shore safely, however, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to avoid the ice in the area.
A drone flyover of the area also indicated several other concerning areas. No more details were provided.
