Very warm weather Friday followed by an active weekend

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

A warm front lifting through the state this morning will set off some isolated, brief showers with some thunder possible. Otherwise, your Friday will be windier with very warm weather coming our way! You can expect highs away from Lake Michigan to be 25 to 35 degrees above our normal high which is 40 degrees!

Between 11pm tonight and 4am Saturday, a line of showers or embedded thunderstorms will come through. Our severe threat is quite low, but some gusty winds could come with any thunderstorm – so you’ll want to make sure there aren’t any loose items outside that could blow around while you are sleeping.

Windy weather is expected during the day Saturday with gusts around 40 to 45 miles per hour! There is a chance some of our viewers will not see rain, but we are still expecting late morning and afternoon scattered showers in the area.
