GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The rain held off last night for Round 1 of the NFL Draft, but we’re beginning the second day on a soggier note. Widespread rain is moving across the central part of the state, but thankfully, it’s just rain and not thunderstorms.
If you’re planning to head over to the draft experience this afternoon, bring the rain jacket. The chance for widespread light rain will be highest through about 3 to 4 p.m., then the rain will quickly exit. Temperatures will only manage the upper 40s and low 50s, with a stiff northeast wind at 10 to 15 mph.
While the rain may exit around the time the TV broadcast gets going—and you can ditch the rain jacket—it will still be sweatshirt weather with cloudy and breezy conditions. There’s also a small chance of a passing sprinkle.
Saturday will start with a few clouds, but golden sunshine will emerge by the afternoon. The breezy winds from the day prior will subside, and high temperatures will return to seasonal averages in the upper 50s and low 60s. When Brad Paisley takes the stage, expect light winds and clear skies.
