KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeastern Wisconsin have identified a woman found dead within a Lake Michigan break wall on Sunday night.
According to an updated release from the Kenosha Police Department, with assistance from the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office, the woman was identified as 18-year-old Kayla Sobczak of Kenosha.

Police say Sobczak was reported missing by her family on Dec. 23, 2024, after last being seen on Dec. 17.
Her death remains under investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Kenosha Police Department at (262) 605-5280. No additional details were provided.
