(WFRV) — Two Wisconsin State Patrol troopers were recognized last week for their dedication to keeping drunk drivers off the road.
Trooper Sedgbeer-Williams and Trooper Boley received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hero Award and the Drug Recognition Excellence Award, respectively.

According to a release, Trooper Sedgbeer-Williams made 51 operating while intoxicated (OWI) arrests in 2023, bringing his total to 311 during his five-year career with the Wisconsin State Patrol. Trooper Boley conducted 19 evaluations in 2023, which earned him the Drug Recognition Excellence Award.
“Congratulations to both for providing exceptional public safety services,” the Wisconsin State Patrol stated on social media.
